2 Commanders among 7 Taliban Killed in Afghan Maidan Wardak Airstrikes

Two militant commanders and five of their fighters were killed in two separate airstrikes in Maidan Wardak province, a statement by the province’s media office said Tuesday.
The statement said that the airstrikes were carried out in Dai Mirdad and Chak districts last night, Khaama press reported.
One airstrike targeted militant commander Hamidullah alias Shahid in Alkah area of Dai Mirdad District in which he killed with four of his fighters.
The second airstrike targeted another militant commander in Baik Siman area of Chak District leaving the commander and one of his man killed.
The statement further added that civilians did not suffer harms in the airstrikes.
