Drone strike on Dnipro – Death toll rises to two, 16 injured

Late in the evening on April 16, Russians attacked Dnipro with Shaheds. The number of casualties and injured continues to rise, according to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.

As of 11:30 PM, it was reported that a young girl had died in the city due to the Russian attack. Seven others were injured, including a 9-month-old girl, but fortunately, her condition was stable.

However, by 11:57 PM, new information emerged. A second person, an elderly woman, had died, and the number of injured had increased.

“As of now, there are 16 injured, including three children. Besides the 9-month-old girl, there are boys aged 6 and 11, who are in satisfactory condition. Five people have been taken to hospitals and are receiving medical care,” informed the head of the Regional Military Administration.

As a result of the attack, residential buildings, educational institutions, and cultural facilities were damaged, and vehicles were destroyed.

One of the Shaheds nearly hit the city hall building, landing nearby. Mayor Boris Filatov also reported that the attack had destroyed a women’s clothing store owned by his wife.
