The Umayyad’s Army (Yazid forces) went to the extent of preventing Imam Hussain a.s ,his family and companions from drinking water and kept them for three days tortured in the burning heat of the desert.

Meanwhile in Kerbalayi-Kashmir, people have been subjected to brute force ,Muharram mourners have been thrashed like animals,Kashmiri muslims have been caged & not allowed to offer Friday prayers at many places , there is a shortage of medication, baby food & other essentials in curfew-hit Kashmir.During this deadliest clampdown ,getting to the hospital’s is almost impossible as forces don’t allow without curfew passes & curfew passes are only issued to govt officials ,RSS-BJP & their servants .2-5 Kashmiri people have been killed by Indian forces directly or indirectly ,mass detention under draconian PSA ,night raids & torture of Kashmiris continues since India revoked Kashmir’s special status. 100s of Kashmiris have been blinded ,injured, & daughters/mothers of Kashmir are either abused or threatened or suppressed ( &awakening is suppressible) .

Draconian curfew in Kashmir enters consecutive 37th day on the martyrdom anniversary of Sayyed ul Shohada Hazrat Hussain ibni Ali a.s ,his family members & companions ,who were martyred by Yazid & his heartless army. The reason behind Imam Hussain’s revolution/ Martyrdom as stated by him, was to revive the Islamic Sharia (law) ,Protect Deen e Haqq and Prophet’s Sunnah (tradition). ” He led the revolution to uphold the rights and dignity of mankind and revitalize the ethical code which was waning. He was aware of the fact that if he shook hands with Yazid, he would be condemned by the history and if he denied it, his revolution would teach the lesson of humanity, heroism, and liberty to the world.Liberty is the key word here. The state’s structure was built on an un-Islamic basis. Quraish was born to rule, other Arabs were second-class citizens, and non-Arabs constituted the base of the society’s pyramid. That was the general social picture of the Muslim world under the Umayyad’s dynasty. Freedom of thought and expression were denied, when one dared to express an opinion contrary to that of the Umayyad’s, prison became his home, his property was robbed, and even his life was at stake, thus Karbala took the life of Imam Hussain only to bring about liberty to the Islamic world”, says Imam Khamenei. I am not trying to compare people of Kashmir with noble family of Hussain a.s but let me tell you the situation in Kashmir is deteriorating,dangerous ; Kashmir is an open prison .

Kashmiri Hussainis of Imam Hussain a.s either inside an open prison (Kashmir ) or outside Kashmir have long been in a precarious situation ,suffering from mental trauma ,Spiritual Gehenna & what not? Kashmir is Today’s kerbala ; it is upto Muslims whether they want themselves to be remembered with titles like “Koifis & munafiqeens” throughout the history or they want to be among ansaaran e Hussain a.s .

Kashmir issue is an issue of humanity ,now, it is unto human world ,whether they want to react like mute specters or advocates of human rights ,if their conscience is alive .

My appeal to whole Muslim world in general ,rights activists ,justice activists ,truth seekers ,free humans ,elite people & writers ,media personals in particular and especially to those leaders whom Kashmiris trust & have some hope in , please raise your voices in solidarity with Kashmir ,pressurize Indian govt for “plebiscite in Kashmir” as promised by India itself & UN . On the day of judgement be ready to face Prophet saww & his household ,if you can’t .
