Srinagar, 03/Aug/2019: Expressing Serious Concern over deteriorating political Situation in Kashmir, Socio-political Activist Syed Karar Hashmi warned central government and other agencies not to take Kashmir leadership and its people for granted, any move against aspirations of Kashmiris will never yield any result and will prove counterproductive and dangerous for Center –state relations.

Hashmi added that it is a prime duty of government to speak on developmental Issues, about unemployment, poverty, peace, and other important issues related with progress of any country, on contrary, laws and orders against Muslims are circulated across India in such a way that we always feel sense of strangeness in our own lands. Let we remind all those people supporting repealing of article 35 A are basically living in fool’s paradise and such move will engulf dramatically whole south Asia into its ambit. World will witness the biggest ever mass agitation carried in Kashmir and people will show political servants the real power of the people as hundreds of trade bodies, united political leadership and civil society groups have joined hands against any attempt to repeal the article or any move against the state subjects.

Syed Karar Hashmi said in a statement, that, Politics over Article 35A is well planned game to get political mileage in keeping view conducting of assembly elections in a state ahead. Basically, Article 35 A was incorporated into the constitution of India in 1954 by an order of the former President Late Rajendra Prasad on the advice of Jawaharlal Nehru Cabinet. Later the Presidential order was issued under Article 370 (1) (d) of the constitution with an intention to make certain modifications to the constitution for the benefit of ‘State Subjects’ of Jammu and Kashmir. The article gives special rights, privileges in public sector jobs, scholarships, welfare activities, public aid, and acquisition of property and so on. The Presidential order of 1954 was issued to implement the agenda of the Delhi Agreement of 1952 between, the Union of India and the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The tactics used this time against Kashmiris is just trying to stop us Air to breath, will be resulted disastrous consequences for entire India.

Silence of the Congress and other opposition parties at center are more dangerous than those speaking repealing of Article 35a. The political leader should represent the aspirations of the public in assembly or in a Parliament but our leaders have always kicked our aspirations in dust bins. Hashmi added
