Iran ambassador meets Lebanon Defence Minister, armed forces chief

Iranian ambassador to Lebanon Mohammad Jalal Firouznia called on Lebanese Defense Minister Yacoub Sarraf and both exchanged views on regional issues and latest developments.

During the meeting, the two sides also discussed Tehran-Beirut relations.
Underlining Iran’s support for security and stability in Lebanon, Firouznia expressed Tehran’s readiness for developing cooperation with Lebanese defense ministry and army.
He had earlier met with Commander of the Lebanese Armed Forces Joseph Aoun.
