Turkey under Erdogan continue to fall to US trap in Syria
Turkey under Erdogan continue to fall to US trap in Syria where Washington DC had taken Ankara on board since beginning of ongoing meddling.
Then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had mentioned Turkey and Arab regimes who joined United States administration plan for Syria.
In Washington Post, David Ignatius had revealed presence of Turkish intelligence head at the Washington meeting regarding Syria.
Turkey under Erdogan continue to fall
As a Nato member state, Turkey also joined the post-9/11 US-led coalition of wiling in war against Afghanistan.
Keeping in view the example of Turkish role in US-led war on Afghanistan, no saner person can deny the fact that Turkey has a history of joining US-led plots.
Turkey at service of US military
Turkey’s Incirlik air base alone has been a crucial military location for Washington’s overseas missions since the 1950s, holding at least 50 nuclear bombs.
That means Syria under al-Assad cannot be blamed for Turkey-related controversy since the latter had begun hosting US military in 1950s.
As Voice of America noted that the vast Incirlik Air Base, located in southern Turkey close to Syria, has been a longstanding symbol of U.S.-Turkish cooperation.
Besides, the US has a sizable Air Force personnel estimated to be about 5,000 military men at that base, according to TRT World.
Syria under al-Assad
That means Syria under al-Assad had not forced US or Turkey to join hands militarily.
Turkish role in Afghanistan and Iraq also remain incontrovertible fact that US-led bloc’s sectarian Sunni-Shia narrative is based on empty lies.
Ankara and Riyadh
Let alone Saudi monarchy, Turkey too remained ally of U.S. war in Afghanistan. So, they cannot claim them as champion of Sunnis who know these US-allied regimes much well.
Coming back to Syria, Turkey under Erdogan has requested US for Patriot missile system. Ankara no more eyes Moscow for weapons.
US sold out Kurds
US President Donald Trump had first sold out Kurds to Turkey who invaded Iraq and Syria to target Kurds.
The geopolitical chessboard of Middle East/West Asia has witnessed this sort of US game throughout the history.
Since World War II to date, US dictates and controls the region directly or through regional allied regimes and proxy groups.
Pro-Israel or anti-Palestine US line
Syria under al-Assad had refused to toe the pro-Israel or anti-Palestine US line. That remains the only sin of Syria regime. Otherwise, there is no direct US tussle with Syria. Similarly, Turkey too should not have any problem with Syria under al-Assad.
But Turkey chose to join anti-Syria US-led alliance together with Saudi monarchy.
Hillary Clinton admits US meddling
As Hillary wrote that she met Saudi King in Riyadh where they also discussed the need to do more to support the rebels in Syria.
Hillary further wrote: “Late that night I flew to Istanbul, where I met representatives from Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar and heard the same message about the need to get arms to the rebels.”
That excerpts show how US, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and other allied regimes meddled into internal affairs of Syria during Hillary’s tenure as Secretary of State.
Complicity in US crimes
Regime of US-led alliance including Turkey have remained complicit in US meddling into Syria and Afghanistan.
As per international law, their meddling into Syria remains illegal.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan should not emulate Saudi monarchy in toeing the US pro-Israeli line against pro-Palestine Syria.
President Bashar al-Assad is son-in-law of Sunni Arabs but Zionists-influenced propaganda portray him something else.
Turkey under President Erdogan
Turkey under President Erdogan should not fall to US trap in Syria. Instead, Ankara must join hands with Damascus to strengthen Muslims-Arabs unity against common enemy Israel and US.
Syrians also deserve peace and prosperity and imposed war destroy Arab Muslim majority country.
