Former diplomat lauds Imam Khomeini role in awakening the Islamic world

Former ambassador of Pakistan to Iran Javid Husain has said that founder of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini played an impressive and commendable role for awakening the Islamic world.
In an interview, Javid Husain declared Imam Khomeini one of the very prominent and outstanding personalities.  Particularly, of the Muslim world in 20th century.

He lauded memorable role of Imam Khomeini in bringing about Islamic Revolution in Iran.

Most importantly, former diplomat declared Islamic revolution as one of the most important developments in the Islamic World.

Furthermore, he said Imam Khomeini helped bring a political transformation by replacing a monarchy with a democratic system in Iran.

The ex-diplomat said he also brought about social transformation moving the Iranian society towards greater equality among the people from different classes.

He said Imam Khomeini’s role in bringing about awakening in Islamic world needs to be highly appreciated.

He expressed hope that history would always remember important contributions of Imam Khomeini in high esteem. Mr. Javid cited contributions to Iran and the rest of the Muslim World with great appreciation.

He noted that Imam Khomeini had taught his people how they should establish a government in an Islamic society. He said that people in Iran have every right to decide as to what kind of government they want in their country.

Moreover, he emphasized Islamic world should consider Imam Khomeini’s teachings and his views very carefully.
