Year 2024: Shiite bloodshed continued, Takfiri unbridled, government remained helpless

Shiite News: In 2024, Shiite nation in Pakistan faced a wave of attacks by Takfiris and other terrorist and Takfiri groups in different areas, especially in Parachinar and Balochistan.

This year proved to be a bloody year for the Shiite of Pakistan, who had previously been the target of continuous attacks by Takfiri groups, were targeted in one of the bloodiest attacks on on November 21, 2024.

In this incident, an armed attack was launched on a convoy of Shia pilgrims traveling from Parachinar to Peshawar.

According to reports, 43 Shias were martyred and about 40 people were injured in the attack.

After the incident, thousands of Shias protested peacefully and demanded that the government immediately identify and punish the attackers, but the protest turned violent and led to clashes between Takfiris and Shias in the Kurram region.

According to reports, at least 80 people were killed and more than 150 people were injured in sectarian clashes in various areas, including Parachinar, in the month of November.

International organizations and religious authorities reacted strongly to the attacks against Shias in Pakistan and condemned these attacks.

International human rights organizations also issued statements expressing deep concern over the rise in sectarian violence in Pakistan, as well as calling for the protection of religious minorities.
