Parachinar, more than 100 children died due to lack of medical facilities

Shiite News: The number of children who died due to lack of medical facilities in Parachinar has exceeded 100.

According to sources, the citizens’ sit-in against the closure of roads in Parachinar for two and a half months is continuing for the sixth day.

Tehsil Chairman Upper Kurram Agha Muzammil says that due to the closure of roads, citizens are deprived of basic facilities like food and treatment. He said that more than 100 children have died due to lack of medical facilities.

On the other hand, Deputy Commissioner Kurram says that the Grand Jirga is starting negotiations today to establish peace in the area. The Grand Peace Jirga has reached Kurram district for the negotiation process.

It should be noted that due to the tense situation in Parachinar for the past two and a half months, all the roads in the district have been closed, due to which the citizens are facing severe difficulties in obtaining basic facilities like food, medicine and treatment.
