Unrest deliberately promoted in Kurram district, Speakers

Shiite News: Under the auspices of Kurram Yakjehti Committee a protest sit-in held at National Press Club Islamabad against long unrest, ongoing terrorism, extremism, religious hatred, religious insults, unresolved land disputes and series of bloody wars in Kurram District.

The protest sit-in of the people of Kurram district continued for the eleventh day in the Federal Capital.

On this occasion, the spokesperson of Kurram Yakjehti Committee, Shabbir Sajdi, said that for the sake of establishing sustainable peace, our peaceful struggle and protest movement will continue until the basic demands are met, God willing.
Bloody riots, inflammatory statements, land disputes and criminal negligence of the government have divided the lives of the people of the entire district and brought to the brink of destruction.

Speaking on the occasion, Tehreek-i Hussaini President Allama Syed Tajumal Hussain Hussaini said that the peace is being strangled in Kurram district while unrest is being promoted, under a systematic plan, somehow through different names and pretexts.

Allama Syed Zahid Hussain Kazmi, the leader of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan, said that suppressing the voice of Kurram, encouraging miscreants and promoting mischief has become a routine, which is condemnable in every respect.

He emphasized Shia-Sunni unity and said that we do not want Shia-Sunni hatred across the country.

On this occasion, former IG Syed Irshad Hussain said that the walls of Islamabad are witnesses that we have repeatedly restored peace and peaceful resolution of all conflicts, the functioning of the Land Commission, revenue records, previous decisions and In the light of examples, they have been talking about giving rights to the rightful and reining in the nefarious characters, but despite this, the silence of the government and the state’s indifference are beyond comprehension.

Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Khyber Pakhtunkhwa leader Zakir Nowroz, Kurram leaders Syed Muhammad Shah, Syed Kazim Hussain, Aamir Turi, Professor Shabir Hussain and other Pakhtun leaders also spoke on this occasion.

The spokesperson of the Kurram Solidarity Committee further said that it has been eleven days of our protest but still no adequate hearing and encouraging action has been taken, which is a proof of the state’s step-mother behavior.

He said that the purpose! We, the Karam Solidarity Committee Islamabad today once again renew our commitment to restore permanent peace in the district of Karam, peaceful resolution of land disputes, expose the conspirators and stop the path of evil elements. Will not sit with China.
