Shiite News: Central leader of Majlis-e-Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan, Allama Maqsood Ali Domki,
while expressing regret over the recent rain and flood disasters, appealed to the well-wishers to come forward to help the victims in time.

He said that due to lack of planning by the government, rain becomes punishment. In the last disastrous flood, the government had completely abandoned the people and the aid from foreign countries was also subjected to the corruption of the ruling class instead of being delivered to the victims.

Allama Maqsood Ali Domki said that due to the corruption of the money allocated for the proper cleaning of rain channels and sewers, the rain water causes destruction, while the faulty dams built to store water caused double destruction by overflowing in the last flood.

Due to the lack of planning on the part of the government, the dear motherland of Pakistan faces water shortages and rain disasters every year, while through better planning, small dams could built to store rainwater and the area can be made cultivable.

He said that forty percent of the country’s population is living below the poverty line, who cannot afford two meals a day, so poor people live in slums.

Mud houses and mud walls are a constant threat to their occupants during the rainy season. Looking at the past performance of the government, no good is expected from them even in the recent monsoon, so the well-wishers should go ahead and help the poor and backward classes.
