Banned Sipah Sahaba threats to kill renowned religious scholar

Shiite News : In an effort to bring the outlawed Sipah Sahaba back into the mainstream, a march was held in Islamabad where innocent Shiite people were threatened to be massacred.

During this march, prominent religious scholar Syed Nazer Abbas Taqvi received a death threat, which has sparked outrage across the country.

People and religious circles across the country have strongly condemned the incident and demanded the government to take strict action against such elements that are harmful for communal harmony.

It should be noted that Sipah Sahaba Pakistan is a banned organization that has been involved in violence against people of the Shiite sect in the past. Their march in Islamabad may further increase the communal tension in the country.
