DG Rangers Sindh reviews arrangements of Chehlum Imam Hussain (AS)

Shiite News: A high level meeting was held at the Headquarters Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) under the chairmanship of DG Rangers (Sindh) Major General Azhar Waqas.

In the meeting, the law and order situation of Karachi city, especially the arrangements of Chehlum, were specially reviewed.

Additional IG Karachi, Joint DG IB, DIG CTD, Special Branch, East, West, South, CIA, Traffic, Police, Rangers and senior officers of sensitive institutions along with video link were present in the meeting. DIG Sukkur, Hyderabad also participated via video link.

During the meeting, the measures taken to improve the law and order situation and to ensure the security of Chehlam processions across the province were reviewed in detail.

In the meeting, it was decided that the process of joint flag march and snap checking by Rangers and Police regarding Chehlam will be made more effective.

And the security of the entrances and exits of gatherings, assemblies and processions of all schools of thought should be ensured.

In the meeting, it was emphasized that in the light of the orders given by the provincial government, full compliance with the prevailing laws and code of conduct should be ensured as much as possible.
