12 years passed since tragedy of Kohistan, killer still at large

Shiite News: August 16 is one of the darkest days in the history of Gilgit-Baltistan after the tragedy of Kohistan and Chilas.

On August 16, 2012, a new chapter of cruelty was created in the history of GB when terrorists stopped three passenger buses from Rawalpindi to Astor and Gilgit at Babusar in Chilas and checked the identity cards of the passengers from the Shia school of thought. 11 passengers were martyred by standing in rows and firing.

The terrorists, dressed in the uniform of the security agencies, played this bloody holi in broad daylight and the security agencies did not even know about it.

After martyring around a dozen travelers on Babusar Top, the terrorists climbed the mountains with satisfaction and escaped easily.

Today, 6 years have passed since this tragic tragedy, but the dream of making a lesson to the terrorists could not be realized till now.
