FIR against MWM leader Allama Ejaz Behishti is baseless, Allama Ahmad Iqbal Rizvi

Shiite News: Vice Chairman Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi has said in his statement that registration of FIR for raising voice in favor of public rights is illegal and unjustified.

An FIR has been filed against Allama Ejaz Hussain Behshti, the main leader of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen, Allama Ejaz Hussain Behshti, Sheikh Zulfiqar Ansari, a member of Anjuman Imamiya, Wazir Hasnain, president of Awami Tehreek-Baltistan and other students and youths for raising their voices in favor of people’s rights in Gilgit-Baltistan. An attempt is being made to make the situation worse with this heinous act.

He further said that it has become a crime for the people of Gilgit-Baltistan to raise the voice of protest against the fundamental rights and illegal occupation of private lands.

People will never allow their fundamental rights to be taken away, strongly condemning the registration of cases against clerics and peaceful youths of the region and demanding their immediate dismissal.

Instead of providing the people with the basic facilities of other areas of life including constitutional rights, the nefarious tactics of suppression through FIRs will never succeed.
