We will not tolerate any kind of ban on the mourning of Syed al-Shohada (AS), Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari

A dinner was organized in honor of the founders, trustees and salars of Islamabad Rawalpindi by the main Azadari Wing of Majlis Wahdat Muslim Pakistan.
Chief MWM Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari while addressing the dinner said that commemoration of Syed-ul-Shahada is our religious, constitutional and legal right and we will not tolerate any restrictions on it.
We reject the SOPs that limit mourning, this is in conflict with the constitution of Pakistan.
We want peace and brotherhood among our fellow countrymen and we express our distaste for any such act that creates a rift in Shia-Sunni unity.
The Central President of Azadari Wing Malik Iqar Hussain Alvi said that we are one from Karachi to Gilgit-Baltistan for the promotion and protection of Azadari Syed-ul-Shahada (a.s.).
MPA Numberdar Asad Abbas while speaking said that we are convinced of the supremacy of the constitution and law and condemn any such acts of extremism, riots and hate speech across the country which can harm the hearts of people of any religion.
Allama Iqbal Behashti, Syed Zaheer Abbas Naqvi and other dignitaries also addressed the dinner. At the end of the program, a joint declaration was presented in which restrictions on the programs of mourning processions and gatherings were condemned in the name of law and order.
An inquiry into incidents like Madin and Phalia was demanded. We condemn the attack on the mosque and Imambargah in Sheikhupur by extremists.
The Punjab government should strictly punish those involved in the attack so that such incidents do not happen again.
