Negation of one’s self is real sacrifice, Sayeda Masooma Naqvi

Shiite News: Central President of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Women’s Department, Masooma Naqvi,
said in her message on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha: I congratulate all the Muslim Ummah on the happy occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.

Eid-ul-Azha teaches Muslims not to hesitate from the biggest sacrifice for their faith and nation.

Negation of one’s self is the original meaning of sacrifice. Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him) set an example of sacrifice and obedience to the Lord. It is a memorable example of submission and acceptance.

We have to give priority to the national and country interests by keeping individual interests at a side on this great occasion of paying Sunnah Ibrahimi.

You have to share your happiness with people who are living in very difficult conditions.

On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, do not forget the martyrs and victims of Palestine, remember them in your prayers.
