3-day meeting of MWM Shura Umoomi held

Shiite News: The annual three-day central meeting of Majlis-e-Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan under the title of Uswa-Shabiri Organizational and Training Convention has concluded in Imam Sadiq (AS) Islamabad.

Central and provincial leaders from across the country, cabinet members and all the district presidents and representatives from all four provinces including Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu Kashmir participated in the meeting.

The meeting was started on Friday night, May 10, with remembering martyrs, while three sessions were held on Saturday, May 11, which were named after martyr Dr. Muhammad Ali Naqvi, martyr leader Allama Syed Arif Hussain Al Hussaini and the leader of the revolution Ayatollah Khamenei. Two meetings were held on May Sunday.

In the first session, the Union Cabinet presented its reports and answered the questions of the Shura members.
In the meeting, Malik Iqar Hussain, Asif Raza Advocate, Maulana Chaudhry Zaigham Abbas performed Nizamat.

Allama Sadiq Jafari, Maulana Ahmad Hussain, Qari Sharif Nafis received the blessing of reciting the Holy Quran, Zakir Nowruz Ali, Zaigham Naqvi and others offered their prayers at the Bargah of Rasool, Ummah and Martyrs.

The provincial presidents and the central cabinet presented their respective performance reports, while on various topics MWM Chairman Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, Central Vice Chairman Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi, Central General Secretary Syed Nasir Shirazi, Central Political Secretary Asda Abbas Naqvi, Member Shura Allama Allama. Iqbal Behishti, President of the Ulama of the School of Ahl al-Bayt, Allama Syed Hasnain Abbas Gardizi, Allama Ejaz Behshti, Mohsin Shahryar spoke.

The second session of the convention was dedicated to Shaheed Dr. Muhammad Ali Naqvi, in which the central and provincial leaders paid tribute to Dr. Muhammad Ali Naqvi’s outstanding national services by covering various aspects of his personality.

During the meeting, a talk show was also organized in which Nizamat member Shura Ali Nisar Ali Faizi performed while Central General Secretary Syed Nasir Shirazi, Central Political Secretary Asad Abbas Naqvi, Opposition Leader GB Assembly Kazem Maysam and Tehsil Mayor Parachinar Muzamal Hussain. Faseeh spoke as a guest speaker.

On the last day of the meeting, honorary certificates for good performance were presented to the model districts and departmental officials of all the provinces.
