Workers are backbone of country’s development, Allama Sajid Naqvi

Shiite News: The head of Shia Ulema Council, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, in a message issued on the occasion of “Labor Day” on May 1, said that the problems of labor should be solved on a priority basis.

This day commemorates the struggle of the workers. It is the responsibility of all of us to make the struggle of workers fruitful, the economic development and prosperity of the country is not possible without the tireless efforts of workers and skilled workers, workers are the backbone of any country’s development.

Ironically, even on International Labor Day, the common labor class seems to be engaged in the struggle of non-shabina.

The Holy Qur’an also states in Surah Al-Hashar verse 7 that “wealth should not circulate among the nobles only” and directs towards fair distribution.

The Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) legacy continued on this. At the beginning of his caliphate, Hazrat Ali (A.S.) took the first reforming step by declaring equal opportunities for all in the national treasury.

But unfortunately, despite the passage of 7 decades, it has become very difficult for the laborers and farmers to get their legitimate rights.
