Former CM Syed Mohsin Naqvi takes oath as Federal Minister

Shiite News: All the ministers included in the 19-member federal cabinet of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have taken the oath of office.

President Asif Ali Zardari administered oath to the new ministers. Muhammad Aurangzeb, Ahad Cheema and Mohsin Naqvi are among those who took oath. These three are neither members of the Assembly nor part of the Senate. Ishaq Dar and Musadiq Malik are also among the federal ministers.

An oath-taking ceremony was held in the President’s House, the ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran.

Later, President Asif Ali Zardari took oath of the 19-member federal cabinet, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and other members of the assembly also participated in the ceremony.

Apart from this, Muslim League (N) Amir Maqam, Ahad Cheema, Ahsan Iqbal, Ishaq Dar are also part of the federal cabinet.

Chaudhry Salik of Muslim League (Q), Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui of Muttahida Qaumi Movement and Mohsin Naqvi have also taken oath of the federal cabinet.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has called a federal cabinet meeting today.
