Shariah matters cannot be dealt with English laws, Allama Amin Shaheedi

Shiite News: Head of Ummat e Wahida, Allama Muhammad Amin Shaheedi while talking to a private channel said that a game being played in the name of law in the country at the moment has nothing to do with morality, constitution and law and Sharia.

This is a Shariah issue and cannot be adjudicated under the English law. He further said that if the matter of marriage is to be looked into during Idda, one should consult the scholars of jurisprudence to whom the parties to marry are related.

If there is any misunderstanding during the Idda, the solution is to read the Nikah again after the Idda.

But such a punishment and then misusing a private issue by making it a public issue does not come in any moral, legal, and Shariah sphere.
