Only Prophet PBUH has authority to annul marriage, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari

Shiite News: Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, head of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen, has said in a statement that moral, political, social values and Shariah orders are being mocked in the name of law and justice.

There is no such example, where is the justice in violating the honor of a family for ego satisfaction? Disgrace in this world and in the hereafter is for those who explain the Shariah commands in their own way.

Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari further said that in the religion of Islam, only the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has the power to annul marriage.

A marriage performed according to the terms and conditions cannot be annulled by the judge’s decision.
A judge has no authority to separate a husband and wife who are living happily after a Sharia marriage.

The woman herself has admitted that if the marriage takes place after completing the period of Idda, then the decision of the judge has no moral, legal and Shariah standing.
