Suppressing voice of people, divided country into two parts, Justice Athar Minallah

Shiite News: Supreme Court Judge Justice Athar Minallah says that only after 8th of February, it will be possible to say about how the elections were conducted.

Addressing the Future of Pakistan Conference in London, Justice Athar Minallah said that elections should not be elections for the sake of elections, but elections should be genuine elections.

He said that we lost half of the country due to suppression of freedom of expression, it is very important to have freedom of expression in our society.

Regarding forced disappearance, Justice Athar Minullah said that we as a nation have to think that when this problem is in Balochistan or KP, it is not a problem, but if it is in Punjab, it becomes a problem.

He further said that the constitution has been violated several times in the country but no one has been held accountable for the violation of the constitution, they will not defend what the judiciary has done but it is hoped that the youth will bring a positive change.

Justice Athar Minullah said in his address that the test of the court is to maintain the trust of the people and implement the decisions.
