What is Salim Safi's relationship with banned parties, who accused Iran of hypocrites
Journalist Salim Safi’s relationship with banned parties and Takfiris is not hidden from anyone.
Salim Safi is one of those journalists in Pakistan who has had close ties with anti-Shiite groups since his student days. During the student life, Saleem Safi was active member of Islami Jamiat Talba, when CIA, and Saudi Arabia started the so-called Afghan Jihad. He also joined this jihad and went to Afghanistan, and indulged in shedding the blood of innocent Afghans.
After the September 11 attacks of al-Qaeda on America, he broke his ties with Jamaat-e-Islami. Salim Safi always writes columns in defense of anti-Shiite and Takfiri parties.
In a column yesterday, Salim Safi has alleged that Iran spreads sectarianism in Pakistan. Salim Safi further wrote that if Iran’s foreign minister is coming to Pakistan, it should be made clear to him that Pakistan will no longer tolerate the presence of elements opposed to it in Iran. And Iran’s fomenting of sectarianism in Pakistan should also stop now.
He further said that we should stop now saying Iran is our “Brother”. Either Iran becomes a real brother or they too should be dealt with like India is being treated.
Salim Safi’s accusation against Iran is based on Shia bias, no condemnation column or statement has come out on the events of sectarian activities in Pakistan at the behest of Ale Saud.
Salim Safi wants to spoil Pakistan’s relations with the neighboring country based on close ties with banned organizations.
In the name of freedom of expression, a person named Salim Safi has spoken beyond his stature in this column against the national interests.
Two or three days ago, Wusat Ullah Khan in a column for BBC, while describing some facts of the Pakistan-Iran friendship, also pointed to such irresponsible writers, and anchors, who were playing trumpets on this temporary tension.
Khan Sahib rightly called the behavior of such a journalist-like creature against our state narrative.
It seems that these elements are disgusted by Wasatullah Khan’s factual stance and Pakistan’s narrative, which is evidenced by this column of Mr. Saleem.
