Attempt to smuggle US arms shipment from Afghanistan foiled

Shiite News: An attempt to smuggle the US arms shipment from Afghanistan to Pakistan has failed. Pakistani security agencies foiled an attempt to smuggle modern American weapons to Pakistan from Afghanistan through Torkham.

According to private TV, customs and security forces took action at the Torkham border terminal and recovered American weapons from a vehicle coming to Pakistan from Afghanistan. According to the sources, modern American weapons were recovered from sacks full of onions during checking.

The Afghan driver has been detained. Sources say that important revelations are expected from the arrested Afghan driver during the investigation, the recovered weapons include modern American-made M4, Kalashnikov, magazines and thousands of different types of bullets.

According to sources, among the seized weapons are American rifle grenades, night vision sights and laser beams.
