Security forces kill five terrorists in Tank IBO: ISPR

The security forces in an Intelligence-based operation (IBO) killed five terrorists on Friday in general area Mullazai, of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s (K-P) Tank district, the military said in a statement.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the terrorists who were killed after an intense exchange of fire remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against law enforcement agencies (LEAs).

They were also involved in extracting extortion and target killing of innocent civilians.

Meanwhile, a cache of weapons, ammunition and explosives was also recovered from terrorists’ posession during the operation, the ISPR added.

“Sanitisation operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists present in the area, as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country,” the military’s media wing concluded.
