Mullah Diesel begs slot of Presidency from Nawaz Sharif

Shiite News: Fazlur Rehman alias Mullah Diesel, who is greedy for power and money, has started begging the slot of presidency from Nawaz Sharif.

A meeting was held between Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman at the PML-N secretariat in Model Town, Lahore.

The meeting discussed the seat adjustment formula in the elections, while the two parties have agreed to fight the general elections together and field a joint presidential candidate.

Other leaders of both parties were also present on this occasion, including Maryam Nawaz, Senator Ishaq Dar, Ahsan Iqbal, Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Maryam Aurangzeb and others.

Muslim League (N) sources have said that the leaders of both parties agreed on general elections, bringing a joint presidential candidate and other important issues.

Sources say that Maulana Fazlur Rehman expressed his desire to become the President of the country. On which Nawaz Sharif said that the President will be elected jointly.

Detailed discussions were held between the two parties at the level of delegations while Khawaja Saad Rafiq briefed the meeting about the political talks with MQM in Sindh.

Held detailed consultations on the proposed nationwide local government system of MQM and fully agreed on the proposed local government system of MQM.

It was agreed in the meeting that the constitutional amendment regarding this local government system will be brought in the next parliament.

Nawaz Sharif took Maulana Fazlur Rehman into confidence on the electoral pact between PML-N and MQM, both parties also agreed to form an electoral alliance with MQM and other like-minded parties in Sindh.

According to the sources, it was decided in the meeting that the three parties in Sindh will enter the election arena by making seat adjustments together with other allies.

Sources said that in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Muslim League-N and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam have also agreed on complete seat adjustment.

It was decided that the candidate of the party which is stronger will be nominated and supported on the seat, if no consensus can be reached then the candidate of one party will be nominated for the national seat and the other will be nominated for the provincial seat.

The two parties agreed to form a government together after the upcoming elections and adopt a common strategy on all issues and also consulted on bringing a common presidential candidate.

Nawaz Sharif has indicated that he will decide on the issue of the presidential candidate after the formation of the next parliament.
