Former Federal Education Minister Gilani calls on Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi

Shiite News: Former Federal Minister of Education and Chairman Islamic Democratic Front, Syed Munir Hussain Gilani met the head of Shia Ulema Council Pakistan Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi at his residence.

In the meeting, the issues relating to the political situation of the country, upcoming elections and issues of mutual interest were discussed.

The two leaders agreed that only the government formed as a result of fair and transparent elections can solve the country’s problems.

Only impartial elections will lead to the respect of the people’s mandate and increase in the prestige of the institutions. We hope that the Election Commission will fulfill its responsibilities.

Allama Sajid Ali Naqvi inquired about the welfare of Syed Munir Hussain Geelani and also prayed for his longevity.

It should be noted that Munir Geelani has also played an active role in the political cell of Tehreek Jafaria under the leadership of Allama Sajid Ali Naqvi.

He has met Quaid Millat Jafaria on his return home after staying in America for a few years. The two leaders also remembered the political cooperation in the past.

The former federal minister urged the political parties to adopt a common electoral strategy. Munir Gilani also presented his autobiography “Siyasi Baidari” to Allama Sajid Ali Naqvi.
