American, British diplomats expedite meetings with top political leaders ahead of elections

Shiite News: As the country is heading towards general elections, the activities of the American and British ambassadors in Pakistan and non-diplomatic activities are also being seen to increase.

Donald Blome, the American Ambassador assigned to Pakistan, and British High Commissioner Jane Marriott and Deputy High Commissioner Sarah Mooney in the last two days held separate meetings with the leaders of all major national political parties of Pakistan.

American Ambassador Donald Blome has met Patron Chief of Istehkam Pakistan Party (IPP) Jahangir Tareen in Islamabad and former Prime Minister and Chief of Muslim League-N Nawaz Sharif in Raiwan Mahal.

Meanwhile, British High Commissioner Jane Marriott and Deputy High Commissioner Sarah Mooney have met former President and Co-Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Asif Ali Zardari at Zardari House Islamabad.

During the meeting, Asif Zardari demanded Britain to play a conciliatory role to end the Israeli aggression in Gaza, while the former President and British High Commissioner Jane Marriott also discussed the promotion of bilateral relations.

Senator Salim Mandviwala and Dr. Asim were also present on the occasion of the meeting between former President Asif Zardari and British High Commissioner Jane Marriott.

American Ambassador to Pakistan Donald Blome met with Mian Nawaz Sharif in which matters of mutual interest were discussed, the meeting was also attended by the senior vice-president of Muslim League-N, Maryam Nawaz.

Leader of Muslim League (N) Muhammad Nawaz Sharif emphasized the importance of Pakistan’s relations with America.

Muhammad Nawaz Sharif raised the issue of the plight of innocent Palestinians who are being brutally killed due to indiscriminate Israeli bombing and siege around Gaza. He called for immediate cessation of hostilities and immediate provision of humanitarian and medical aid to the people.

The leader of the Muslim League (N) expressed the belief that the people of Pakistan will once again elect the Muslim League (N) to get the country out of the numerous problems it is facing today.

The US ambassador exchanged US priorities with the leader of the Muslim League (N) and thanked him for the frank and pleasant discussion during the meeting.

Ishaq Khakwani and Aoun Chaudhry were also present in the meeting of the US Ambassador Donald Blome with the Patron Chief of the Pakistan Stabilization Party, Jahangir Tareen.

Jahangir Tareen said that the IPP is ready for the general elections and has started electoral and political activities in full force. The American ambassador expressed his full determination for the stability of mutual relations with Pakistan.

It has been learned from the sources of Shiite News that US Ambassador Donald Blome has also met with various other political leaders including former Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani at Gilani House in Multan.

It should be noted that with the announcement of elections in Pakistan, the American and British lobbies have become active in their efforts to fulfill their nefarious ambitions and establish their own puppet government.
