First aid trucks get into Gaza from Rafah
Trucks containing humanitarian aid have begun entering the Gaza Strip from Rafah crossing between Egypt and the besieged Gaza Strip.
- US embassy in Jerusalem says it has received information that the Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt will open at 10am local time (07:00am GMT).

- The US and EU have noted the “deteriorating humanitarian crisis in Gaza” but stopped short of calling for a ceasefire.
- About 30 reported killed as Israel continues bombing campaign overnight as a possible ground invasion looms.
