Missing person’s families record protest during Chehlum of Imam Hussain AS procession

Shiite News: In the main procession of Arbaeen Hussaini, the mourners of Sayyed al-Shahada, led by the families of forcibly disappeared Shia people, protested against the non-recovery of missing Shia people.

According to the details, protests have been going on for years on behalf of the families of Shia youths forcibly disappeared by the state institutions.

In the main procession of Arbaeen Hussaini held in Karachi, thousands of mourners, led by the families of the forcibly disappeared, protested against the non-recovery of Shia missing persons and shouted slogans against the government and related institutions.

Addressing the mourners, Maulana Amin Shahidi said that the problem of missing Shia people is not the problem of any organization, it is the problem of the Shia nation, the whole nation is with these mothers and sisters.

He said that the state institutions should talk to these families and bring our youth forward.

Other scholars present on the stage and the families of captives expressed their determination to fight for their rights until the release of the last captive.

During the protest, the children of the Shia missing persons also demonstrated the symbolic captivity and helplessness of the government by putting tape on their lips and tying their hands with a rope.
