Oneness of God is foundation of Islam, Ayatollah Hafiz Syed Riaz Najafi

Shiite News: Ayatollah Hafiz Syed Riaz Hussain Najafi, President Shia Wifaq ul Madaris Pakistan, has said that praise is only for Allah Almighty. The foundation of Islam is monotheism and in that lies success.

He said that there are actually three principles of religion. Monotheism, Prophethood and Resurrection. Justice is the attribute of God and Imamate is the continuation of Prophethood. Great emphasis has been placed on mercy. Take care of close relatives, neighbors. A good believer’s job is to keep himself away from sin.

Ayatollah Hafiz Syed Riaz Hussain Najafi said that the best remedy for sin is ‘Istighfar’. Istighfar in real sense is then, when the sin that has been repented of is not committed again.

While delivering the Friday sermon at Jamia Ali Masjid Jamita Al-Muntazar Model Town Lahore, he said that many changes have taken place since the incident of Karbala, even Yazid’s son refused to accept the caliphate.

After the incident of Karbala, most of the promotion of Deen Mubeen was done during the reign of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (AS).

Imam Ali Raza (a.s.) preached monotheism a lot. And Debated with Jews, Christians on the belief in monotheism. The problem of coercion and authority was also solved during His (Imam Raza AS) tenure.

It is narrated that Hazrat Imam Ali Raza (a.s) urged the Muslim Ummah to follow a few things. Greet each other when you meet. Always tell the truth. Never betray a trust, even if the trustee is the murderer of your father.

Spend most of the time in silence. Don’t waste time on things you don’t want to do. Keep visiting each other and don’t distance yourself.
