Karachi Water Corporation issues orders to make special arrangements for Arbaeen Hussaini

Shiite News: CEO Water Corporation Engineer Syed Salahuddin Ahmed has issued orders to the corporation officials to make special arrangements in relation to the Chelum of martyrs of Karbala.

According to the current post, while issuing orders to the relevant officers, official said that on the occasion of Chehlam Hazrat Imam Hussain (a.s.), all the relevant institutions, including the district administration, municipal administration, elected local government representatives, especially the leaders of the Shia scholars and the Jafaria Alliance, should be in full contact with them.
Effective measures should be taken for water supply and drainage in all mosques, imambargahs, majlis, sabils and procession routes before Chehlum Martyrs of Karbala and keeping color slabs and covers on all open manholes. Cleaning of sewage overflow should be ensured.

The leakage of water on the main roads and public places should be stopped, especially the procession routes of Chehlum martyrs of Karbala should be kept completely clean, so that citizens and mourners do not face any kind of problem.

While giving instructions to the in-charge hydrants cell, he said that on the occasion of Chehlum Martyrs of Karbala, the relevant district administration and law enforcement agencies including mosques, imambargahs, majlis, sabils and procession routes are required to meet the need of drinking water for the public and Water tankers should be provided.

All Chief Engineers and Superintendent Engineers have been instructed to carry out a detailed inspection of mosques, imambargahs, majlis gahs and procession routes including their areas, while all executive engineers along with their subordinate staff should be on high alert with jetting and suction machines, to deal with an emergency.

The Executive Engineer Workshop was directed to keep all the machinery ready at all times for the convenience of the citizens. CEO Water Corporation Engineer Syed Salahuddin Ahmed said that no lapse will be tolerated in connection with Chehlam Martyrs of Karbala arrangements, as providing better facilities to the citizens is one of our top priorities.
