Spirituality is also necessary along with knowledge through Maddaris, Allama Riaz Najafi

Shiite News: Ayatollah Hafiz Syed Riaz Hussain Najafi, President Shia Wifaq ul Madaris Pakistan, has said that madaris are religious Islamic centers, where millions of students acquire religious knowledge, but very few of them become famous with hard work.

He said that thousands of scholars are getting education from international scholars in Najaf Ashraf. Very few of them come forward and are known in the society with hard work.

Ayatollah Sheikh Muhammad Hussain Najafi, who passed away recently, was a sincere and pious religious scholar, who preached religion with his hard work and sincerity.

When the name of Ayatollah Muhammad Hussain Najafi came up in the list of 500 influential Muslim figures of the United Nations, he did not even know himself.

He said that there are different religions and sects in the society, some are called Deobandi, Shia, Ahl-e-Hadith, Barelvi, some Chishti Qadri, but we should call ourselves only Muslims.

Hafiz Syed Riaz Hussain Najafi said that Imam Hussain, AS , came out for Islam, not for any sect. We should be proud to call ourselves Muslims, that Islam is our religion and that we are the ummah of Khatam al-Anbiya.

The Qur’an is our book and Imam Huda, the successor of the Messenger of God, is our leader. Describing the greatness of Imam Hussain, he said that Sayyid al-Shahada was a great scholar of his time, sincere and pious, who faced hardships for the sake of Islam.

Hafiz Syed Riaz Hussain Najafi pointed out that if the greatness and purpose of the martyrs of Karbala are properly described through our platforms, then people will be inclined towards Islam and accept the school of Ahl al-Bayt.

Hafiz Riaz Najafi, while delivering the Friday sermon at Jamia Ali Masjid, Hoza ilmiya, Jamita Al-Muntazar Model Town, said that the majority of people are misguided.

There are very few people who are right. Amirul Momineen Imam Ali (AS) has said that there are many who make noise and few who follow the truth.

Hafiz Syed Riaz Hussain Najafi said that inventions come from knowledge. But along with knowledge, spiritual elevation is also necessary which makes man great.

By spiritual elevation, a person considers Allah to be greater because such a scholar knows that whatever rank he has attained, it can be taken away at any time. Therefore, a person who acquires knowledge should be pious and sincere, which is a very difficult task.

Hafiz Riaz Najafi has said that earlier the centers of knowledge were with the Muslims, but alas now the infidels, Jews and Christians are in control of it and they dictate to us how to acquire knowledge.
