SUC leader Allama Shabbir Hasan Maithmi meet with Senator Sherry Rehman

Shiite News: Central Secretary General of Shia Ulema Council (SUC) Allama Dr. Shabbir Hasan Maithmi and Central Information Secretary Zahid Ali Akhunzada met Senator Dr. Sherry Rehman of Pakistan Peoples Party.

PPP leader and Secretary General of Human Rights Malika Raza and Syed Sibtul Haider Bukhari were also present on this occasion.

In the meeting, the Central Secretary General of SUC Pakistan, Allama Dr. Shabbir Hasan Maythmi, paid tribute to Dr. Sherry Rehman for her bold stand regarding the controversial amendment bill in the Senate.

On which Dr. Sherry Rahman, while thanking him, reiterated PPP’s position regarding the controversial bill and said that PPP has always had a clear position regarding basic human rights and that it has never supported such a bill.

This bill deny the public fundamental rights. In the meeting, it was also agreed to continue joint efforts to establish peace and order in the country, including the controversial bill.
