On Independence Day, we pledge for defense and protection of Holy Land, Allama Sajid Naqvi

Shiite News: The head of Shia Ulema Council of Pakistan Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi has said that the country is currently passing through the most critical period in history, in these circumstances it is necessary to awaken the spirit of Pakistan Movement, which is the foundation of Pakistan.

There was a time, when the dream of a Pakistan fulfilled by passionate people’s struggle, today the same spirit is needed.

The country can be freed from the problems only by uniting on the internal and external fronts while keeping the national interests first.

Joint efforts can prove to be useful and effective for the elimination of economic and political corruption, this is the requirement to celebrate Independence Day in the true sense, similarly, we should also fight against corruption, sectarianism, terrorism and extremism, biased legislation.

He said that inter-Muslim unity and communal harmony should be promoted, efforts should be made to create national consensus among all classes.

He further said that the solution of the Kashmir issue is also related to the stabilization of our internal situation, when we are internally strong, we can represent the Kashmir issue and the oppressed Kashmiri people in the true sense and represent them.
