Thought of one sect cannot be imposed on everyone, Allama Arif Wahidi

Shiite News: Central Vice President of Shia Ulema Council (SUC) of Pakistan Allama Arif Hussain Wahidi has said that the controversial amendment bill is a conspiracy to spoil the peaceful atmosphere of unity of this country.

We appeal to the State of Pakistan, members of the Senate and the Presidency not to allow the sectarian atmosphere created by the extremist banned group to flourish in this country.

This country belongs to the entire nation, don’t let it become a sectarian country. No one can even think of insulting Ahl al-Bayt Athar and the companions of the Prophet, this bill having insult issue is a terrible drama, which has special goals.

Don’t let the thought of one religion impose on everyone. Keep in mind that the law is what the whole nation accepts, and will not allow the thinking of a group to impose.

He further said that insults and criticism should be separated. The difference between Imamate and Caliphate between Shia and Sunni has been and will continue for centuries.

We respect everyone, we have always proved it by our actions, but after the Prophet of Islam (PBUH), his immediate successors and caliphs only consider Hazrat Ameerul Momineen, Imam al-Mutaqeen Ali Ibn Abi Talib (AS), this is not an insult to anyone.

Rather, it is our core belief. Besides, it is quite clear that the Muslim belief of the entire Ummah is that the murderers of the Ahl al-Bayt Athar (AS) and those who insulted them cannot be counted among the saints.
