JAP rejects controversial Criminal Amendment Bill 2021 passed in the Senate
Shiite News: Jafaria Alliance Pakistan (JAP) has rejected the Bill of Blasphemy of the Sahaba, Ahl al-Bayt passed in the Senate, calling it contrary to the Constitution and human rights.
In their joint statement, Allama Muhammad Hussain Masoudi, Allama Nisar Ahmad Qalandri, Allama Baqir Hussain Zaidi, Allama Furqan Haider Abidi, Maulana Asghar Shahidi, Allama Dr. Ali Abbas Zaidi and Shabar Raza among others have said that
The purpose of introducing this bill is to get the votes of the violent and Takfiri sect in Pakistan, which itself is an insult to religion.
The blasphemy bill passed by the Senate will cause chaos in the country. It is a reflection of the communal thinking of the black sheep who once again want to push the motherland Pakistan towards communal hatred.
We have institutions like Islamic Ideological Council and Milli Yakjehti Council and passing this controversial bill by ignoring these institutions is tantamount to fueling the fire of sectarianism in the country.
Leaders said that we are the followers of the Sahabi Rasool Hazrat Abu Dhar Ghafari RA who was exiled in the desert of Rabzah, we are the heirs of the Sahabi Rasool Hajar bin Adi RA who was killed for the crime of love for the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon him).
If the gentlemen sitting in the National Assembly had considered this bill even once, they would have known how serious a mistake they had made, but it is a pity that our members of the assembly passed the bill in the name of insulting the Companions and the Ahl al-Bayt.
The leaders appealed to the President to reject this bill as there is no scope for any such bill in the constitution and laws of Pakistan.
