Dozens die in train crash near Nawab Shah

Shiite News: As many as 5 carriages of Hazara Express from Karachi to Rawalpindi derailed near Nawab Shah district of Sindh province, resulting 30 people died and many were injured.

According to Pakistan railway sources, the bodies of all the persons have been removed. According to hospital sources, 100 passengers have been injured in the train accident. DS Railway Mehmood ur Rehman says that the accident of Hazara Express took place near Sirhari railway station.

He said that the relief train is leaving the accident site from Lokshed Rohri, the traffic on the up track is suspended due to the accident, the rescue operation has been started after the accident.

According to the local police, the work of evacuating the passengers of the Hazara Express from the coaches is underway.

According to the Edhi Foundation control room, dozens of Edhi vehicles have been dispatched to the scene from Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Mirpur Khas, Sukkur and nearby centers.
