Old Clifton Road in Karachi, dedicated to Imam Khomeini (R.A)

Shiite News: Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab has said that Pakistan has deep historical and cultural relations with the neighboring country Iran, which have increased with the passage of time.

In order to further strengthen the historical relations, a road of Old Clifton has been dedicated to Imam Khomeini (RA) and now renamed as Imam Khomeni Road.

The Iranian Foreign Minister is grateful for his participation in the opening ceremony. In the future, there will be more expansion and warmth in the relations between Pakistan and Iran.

He said this on the occasion of dedicating the road of Old Clifton to Imam Khomeini, along with Iranian Foreign Minister Dr. Hossein Amir Abdullahian, at the unveiling of the plaque of Imam Khomeini Road.

Iranian Consul General Hasan Nooryan along with consulate officials and other officers were also present in large numbers in the ceremony.

On the occasion of the inauguration, Old Clifton Road was decorated with the flags of Iran and Pakistan.

Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab said that Iranian Foreign Minister Dr. Hussain Amir Abdullahian has visited Pakistan on the invitation of Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
