Allama Shahenshah Naqvi heads meeting of prominent Shia personalities of Karachi

Shiite News: A representative meeting of prominent personalities of Millat e Jafaria of Karachi was called regarding the matters that happened in Ashra Muharram 1445 AH, 2023.

The meeting was presided over by the renowned religious scholar Allama Syed Shahenshah Hussain Naqvi. In the meeting, Allama Syed Haider Abbas Abidi, Sarwar Ali of Pak Muharram, SM Naqi (Markazi Tanzeem e Azadari), Syed Shabar Raza (Jaafria Alliance), Syed Shamsul Hasan Shamsi (Markazi Tanzeem e Aza), Syed Muhammad Mahdi (Abu Turab Scout), Ghayur Abbas Abidi (ISO), Allama Mubashir Hasan (MWM) and others participated.

Addressing the participants of the meeting, Allama Shahenshah Naqvi said that the Azadari programs held all over Pakistan and especially in Sindh, Karachi, Suzkhawan, khutbah and zakireen, nohakhawan, mourners and dignitaries have given their sincere participation.

We acknowledge the Chief Minister of Sindh, the Governor of Sindh and all the institutions working under their supervision, security institutions, police department, commissioner, deputy commissioners, administrative and civil institutions and scout groups, various departments of the Pakistan Army. Also the services of Pakistan Rangers, however, some institutions like the Department of Electricity (K Electric) have disappointed us.

He further said that we are upset with the unpleasant situation in Naushahro Feroze Mouza Phul in Sindh, where cases were registered against mourners, also the situation in other areas of Sindh and Punjab is worrisome and condemnable.

We condemn an incident happened during the procession on the 9th of Muharram in Karachi and hope for the betterment of the attitudes of concerned persons, and hope that more better services will be offered in the upcoming days and special occasions.
