Shiite News: Residents of Hazara town called off the ongoing protest in front of Bruri police station after an FIR was filed against FC official who allegedly tried to rape minors.

Shia Ulema Council (SUC) leader Allama Muhammad Asif Hussaini, tribal leader Sardarzada Muhammad Haider Abbas and social activist Jalila Haider announced the end of the sit-in.

Speakers said on this occasion that FIR is the fundamental right of every Pakistani. Attempts were made to deprive us of this right. Law should be equal for all. No person, not even an FC official, is exempt from the law.

It should be noted that the people of Hazara Town protested against the FIR against the alleged attempt of molestation of minor children by the FC personnel.

A protest sit-in was started by the public outside the Bruri police station in Quetta. Protesters said that the FC officials tried to make a young boy a victim of their lust in Hazara Town.

The public caught him and handed over the FC official to the police. However, instead of filing an FIR against the FC official, the police authorities released him and arrested the petitioner.

Protesters said that this is the second incident in Hazara town in the same week in which FC officials have tried to sexually assault.

Earlier, an FC official on Muharram security had tried to rape a nine-year-old girl, who was stopped by volunteers on Muharram duty and protested.

On which the FC officers had changed the duty of the said FC official. The protestors demanded that an FIR should be registered against the said FC officials and legal action should be taken.

The protesters also said that there is pressure on the police from the FC department. Due to which the police were not performing their duties and both the law enforcement departments were trying to suppress the matter.
