SUC lauds security agencies for providing foolproof security during Muharram

Shiite News: Central Secretary General of Shia Ulema Council (SUC) of Pakistan, Allama Shabbir Hasan Maithmi, has thanked the security agencies for providing foolproof security to the mourning programs during the 1st to 10th of Muharram throughout the country.

He said that security agencies deserve appreciation, we hope that adequate security measures will be taken not only in the month of Muharram but also in the coming months so that the miscreants do not get any opportunity to do any mischief.

He said that the cleaning of procession routes in Karachi, maintenance of street lights and uninterrupted supply of electricity is the primary responsibility of the concerned institutions which they have failed to fulfill at many places.

Tolerance and mutual respect are part of our religion, the scholars should firmly act upon them while keeping in mind the respect for the basic beliefs of all the sects so that mutual respect can be maintained among all Muslims.
