Ashura security plan should be ensured in every case, IG Balochistan

Shiite News: Inspector General (IG) Balochistan Police Abdul Khaliq Sheikh has said that during Muharram, foolproof arrangements will be made under a comprehensive strategy by utilizing all available resources for the security of Muharram Ul Haram processions and assemblies in all districts of Balochistan.

He said this while talking to scholars of different schools of thought and leaders of Anjuman Tajran at the Central Police office in Quetta.

Senior officers of Balochistan Police were also present on this occasion. IG Balochistan also issued instructions to top police officers.

He has said that the implementation of the security plan prepared for the foolproof security arrangements of Muharram and Ashura processions and gatherings should be ensured.

IG Police Balochistan said that all routes of Ashura procession should be monitored with Safe City and CCTV cameras and special branch, CTD and sensitive agencies should speed up search and combing operations.

Additional IG Police Jawad Ahmad Dogar, Additional IG and Commandant BC Chaudhry Salman, DIG Quetta Ghulam Azfar Mahesar, AIG Operations Abdul Haq Imrani, SSP Operations Quetta Zohaib Mohsin and other police officers were also present on this occasion.
