Shiite News: (Sabir Abu Maryam) Muslims around the world have a deep and profound relationship with the Holy Land of the Prophets (peace be upon them).

The Muslims living in the Indian subcontinent have always had a great and devotional relationship with this holy land. During the time when the land of the subcontinent was under the rule of the usurper British i.e. British colonialism, since that time the Muslims living here had a relationship with Palestine and the Palestinians and despite the oppression and tyranny of the British government, the Muslims here never forgot their Palestinian brothers.

At a time when the separate states of India and Pakistan were fighting for independence from the British in the subcontinent, at the same time the usurper Zionists went to different countries of the world and occupied Palestine with the backing of governments of the United States, Great Britain and other Western countries.

Owing to this Zionists plan, bloodshed began to grow in the world and as a result, a tragedy like the First World War took place.

Later, the campaign to occupy Palestine became faster with conspiracies. At that time, the people, including the Muslim leaders who fought for the freedom of Pakistan in the subcontinent, were aware of all these conspiracies against Palestine.

Grand Mufti of Palestine, Mufti Amin Al-Husseini, was constantly sending letters to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal, in which the situation was reviewed and summarized.

Similarly, till the end of the Ottoman Empire, Abdul Hameed Sani was also informing the leadership of the subcontinent about the entire situation in the region through correspondence.

In all these circumstances, it was observed that Britain, which was directly occupying the subcontinent, was also a supporter of the Zionist occupation of Palestine and the plan was or was being implemented under British patronage.

In such circumstances, the Muslims of the subcontinent actively supported the cause of Palestine and the people including Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Allama Iqbal and other leaders took the lead in this work.

Even today, when Pakistan is established as an independent state, as per the history of its founders, it stands with the Palestinian cause and supports the Palestinians.

It is the result that Saif-ul-Azam is also such a Pakistani pilot who will always remain immortal in history following the footsteps of his leaders.

It was the great that he won the honor of shooting down the most Israeli planes in war against the usurping Zionist state of Israel.

Saiful Azam was born on 11 September 1941 in East Bengal. In 1958, he joined PAF School, Sargodha and got his commission in 1960.

He was sent to America for advanced training, where he flew fighter jets like the T-33 and F-86. He was awarded the Distinguished Marksmanship Award by the US Air Force. On his return from America he served first in 14 and then in 19 Squadron.

Saif-ul-Azam was an expert aviator. Saif-ul-Azam also had the honor of shooting down an Indian plane in the war between Pakistan and India in 1965.

He accomplished this feat on September 19 while flying an F-86 from Sargodha Air Base. On the same occasion, where they shot down one of the enemy’s planes, they forced the other planes to flee.

In this war, they bombarded the enemy on the fronts of Sialkot, Wagah and Kasur. He was awarded the Star of Courage for his bravery in this war.

In 1966, Saif al-Azam was sent to Jordan, where he was responsible for training Jordanian pilots. In 1967, the usurper Zionist state of Israel started a big war with the Arab world at the same time. The armies of Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Iraq were involved in this war.

Israel’s goal was to capture the capital of Palestine, Qibla Awwal Bait ul Muqadas. Saif-ul-Azam, who was present in Jordan during those days, joined the war against Israel after receiving permission from the government of Pakistan.

Saif al-Azam, while defending the Jordanian airport from the Israeli attack, shot down an Israeli plane while the other plane also escaped after suffering damage. Two days later, when the forces of the occupying Zionist state of Israel tried to target an airport in Iraq, the great son of Pakistan, Saif-ul-Azam, came against them and shot down two more Israeli planes in this battle.

Saif-ul-Azam is the great captain of Pakistan Air Force who has the honor of shooting down the most planes of Israel.

For the bravery of Saif-ul-Azam, where the Pakistani government had already given him the star of courage, in the Arab world, he was also awarded Wisam-ul-Istiqlal by Jordan and Nawat-ul-Shujaa by Iraq. Pakistan Air Force has the honor that even today Saif-ul-Azam is being born and will continue to be born.
