Initiatives of SUC on Uniform National Curriculum

Shiite News: Syed Izhar Bukhari, the central leader of the Shia Ulema Council of Pakistan, has said in a statement that since the day when the implementation of the uniform national curriculum was announced in the previous regime, the continuous guidance, patronage and supervision of the leader of Shia Ulema Council Allama Sajid Naqvi continued.

Work in progress with Past and present governments have been made aware of the flaws, deficiencies and contradictions found in the uniform national curriculum. For this, apart from correspondence with the officials of the National Curriculum Council, the series of meetings also continued. While with continuity, their position was conveyed in detailed meetings with the federal ministers of education.

A delegation met with the Federal Minister of Education Rana Tanveer Hussain after the current government assumed power, as a result of which the government’s cooperation was awaited.

During the last two months, Allama Sheikh Muhammad Shafa Najafi and Syed Izhar Bukhari met with the officials of the National Curriculum Council regarding the Islamic curriculum of the 9th, 10th and 11th and 12th classes.
In which the syllabus compiled for the above classes was reviewed in detail and their concerns were added.

And the syllabus of the said classes was accepted on the condition that while writing the books of these classes, not only we would be taken into full confidence but the books would not be published without incorporating our reservations. Officials of the National Curriculum Council assured and promised support in the next steps.

As per the Constitution, under the continuous guidance, patronage and supervision of the Honorable Leader, all communications and correspondence are being done with the Forum of the Federation of

Shia Schools of Pakistan, on the progress and ups and downs regarding the uniform national curriculum. Constantly being watched, no phase or no turning is progressing without our knowledge.

Inshallah, all resources will be utilized as much as possible. And the struggle to recognize the national and national position in every place, including the curriculum, will continue.
