President Anjuman Imamia Baltistan holds important meetings with Allama Rahat, Governor GB

Shiite News: President Anjuman Imamia Baltistan Syed Baqir Al Hussaini had important meetings in Gilgit with the central Imam e Jumma Gilgit Agha Rahat Al Hussaini and Governor Syed Mehdi Shah.

Agha Baqir Al Hussaini thanked Imamia Markaz Gilgit especially Agha Rahat Al Hussaini for supporting the movement.

The delegation met the governor Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah along with Naib Imam Juma Wal-Jamaat and President Anjuman Imamiya Baltistan Agha Baqir Al-Husseini.

In the meeting, there was a detailed discussion on water and electricity problems faced by Skardu city. Governor Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah contacted Chairman WAPDA on the spot and informed Chairman WAPDA about the problems and concerns expressed by Agha Baqir Al Hussaini.

Chairman WAPDA assured Governor Gilgit-Baltistan that the survey team will inspect Khattang Nala immediately after Eid, while after the survey Chairman WAPDA himself will visit and ensure the practical work on Khattang Nala diversion.

Governor Syed Mehdi Shah has assured Agha Baqir and the Ulama of Baltistan that after the conversation with the Chairman WAPDA, he is hopeful that soon, God willing, the Chairman WAPDA and the survey team will visit and discuss the issues of water and electricity in this area.

Agha Baqir Al Hussaini said that our movement will continue and there will be no change in it. On which Governor Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah said that if WAPDA authorities do not take practical steps on this, I myself will fully support whatever decision you and the center take and I also assure you of all possible cooperation.
