Shiite News: Security agencies and Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested 2 operatives involved in the funding for the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) during the operation.
Security agencies and CTD have arrested 2 operatives involved in the funding of banned Tehreek-e-Taliban while conducting operations in different areas.
According to CTD spokesman, the accused were arrested while conducting an information-based operation, 40 thousand 900 rupees of funding have been recovered from the possession of the accused.
The spokesman said that operations were carried out in New Karachi Industrial Area and Sher Shah, Fazlur Rehman was arrested from New Karachi and Rahim Afridi from Sher Shah, both accused are trained.
According to the CTD spokesperson, the accused were sent by their commander Saifullah alias Gulai for funding, 4 associates of the accused have been killed in Waziristan suicide blasts. According to the CTD spokesperson, cases are being registered against the accused in the CTD.
