Shiite News: Allama Maqsood Ali Domki, Central Secretary Organization of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan, reached the hunger strike camp of Government Teachers Association Balochistan in front of Balochistan Assembly Quetta and expressed solidarity with the teachers.
Speaking on this occasion, Allama Maqsood Ali Domki said that the teacher is a respectable section of the society and everyone is obliged to respect them.
Today, in the democratic era, hundreds of teachers across Balochistan sitting on the streets in front of the people’s elected assembly is a moment of concern for the government.
If the chief minister, education minister and finance minister hold any position, then these positions are owing to the teacher. The government should fulfill all the legitimate demands of the teachers.
He said that teaching is the profession of the Prophets (peace be upon them) and teachers have a serious responsibility for the education and training of the young generation.
He demanded that the problems of teachers should be solved by fulfilling their legitimate demands like tax quota and increase in salary in proportion to inflation.
Speaking on the occasion, the central organizer of Government Teachers Association Balochistan, Muhammad Yunus Kakar thanked the central leader of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan for expressing solidarity.
He said that thousands of teachers from Lasbela to Zhob have been protesting for their demands for several days and hunger strike has been started from today.
