Activist involved in fundraising for Tehreek-e-Taliban arrested

Shiite News: Accused Ghulam Nabi, who collected funds for Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan on social media, has been arrested.

According to the details, the CTD (Anti-Terrorism Finishing Unit) arrested the main cadre of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan while conducting an operation in Rehri Road Ibrahim Haidari Korangi.

According to the CTD officials, the arrest of the accused was made during the search for those who provide financial support to the terrorists.

The accused was in contact with TTP terrorists through WhatsApp and Telegram. During investigation, the accused has admitted to going first to Peshawar and then to Afghanistan for training in terrorism.

The arrested accused is being interrogated regarding his undercover accomplices and future plans in his city.
